American Red Cross Certification Course
Participants will learn the following skills:
1. First-Aid
2. CPR for the Professional Rescuer
3. How to utilize an AED
4. How to respond in the event of an emergency in and outside the pool
*This class will need a minimum of 3 participants and each participant must attend all course dates in order to obtain certification.
Course Information
Pre-Test: April 14
Course Dates: April 14-18
Time: 9am – 4pm
OR
Pre-Test: April 20
Course Dates: April 20-25
Time: 9am – 4pm
Course Requirements:
• Must attend all classes. No make ups.
• Must be 15 years or older.
• Must be able to swim 12 laps (300 yards) with a combination of freestyle crawl and breast stroke.
• Retrieve a 10-pound brick submerged in 10 feet of water.
