We are a leading non-profit (501c3) community-based service organization working daily to improve lives through programs and services that nurture youth development, foster healthy living, and inspire social responsibility.
We welcome people of all ages, from all walks of life and all backgrounds to join us in making communities stronger, and making Long Island a better place to live, work, and play.
Our Impact
Founded in 1919, today the Y serves a diverse population of nearly 65,000 Long Islanders who learn, grow, and thrive through programs and services at our 6 branches (Bay Shore, Glen Cove, East Hampton, Holtsville, Huntington, Patchogue), YMCA Family Services counseling center (Holtsville) and the YMCA Boulton Center for the Performing Arts (Bay Shore). We provide approximately $2 million annually in financial assistance to access the Y's programs and services. Community is the cornerstone of the Y. Together, we connect active, engaged individuals to build stronger communities.
