Facility Update: Pool Closure

Unfortunately, our pool boiler system has experienced a major mechanical failure. After immediate evaluation by our service technicians, we learned that a critical replacement part is required. That part is currently on back order, and we have been informed that it may take up to two weeks to arrive.

As you can imagine, without a functioning boiler we are unable to properly heat the pools and currently have no hot water in the building, which means we need to temporarily close the YMCA pool facility during this repair period. We understand how disruptive this news is — especially for our swim families, lap swimmers, water exercise participants, and those who rely on our facility as part of their daily routine.

We know that for many of you, the YMCA is more than just a place to swim. It is a community, a support system, and a part of your family’s rhythm. We share in your disappointment and frustration. Please know that this situation is completely out of our control, and we are doing everything possible to expedite the repair process, explore alternative solutions, and minimize the disruption.

We will continue to communicate transparently and provide updates as soon as we receive more definitive timelines.
