Wow! What a summer it has been! We are so sad that it is over. There have been so many great memories and friends made this summer. Our campers had an amazing time playing games like GaGa, Nine Square, Tug of War, Basketball, Soccer and so much more. Campers got creative in Art with so many different projects from painting with their feet to tie-dye. The YMCA day camp helped bridge the summer learning gap by keeping campers engaged and learning in Imagination Station, Reading Warriors and STEM programs. We also had some fun specialty days like Marvel Day, Wacky Sock Day, Wacky Hair Day, Zombie Day, Disney Day and more! Parents also got involved this summer at our three Family Nights with fun, laughs, and games. We also had three amazing shows by our Performing Arts Campers. Older campers went on some spectacular trips this summer such as Six Flags, Lake Compounce, Silver Bay, Bowling, Escape Rooms, Monster Mini Golf, and Comedy Clubs to name some.

Some highlights from our last week of Camp:

KIDDIE CAMP
This  week our Kiddie Campers had fun making smoothies in Imagination Station. In Art, they made jelly fish plates, binoculars, and their Family Night posters. Family Night had a dance-off battle between the Joeys and Colts groups. We had a maker space in the play yard with toy tools, screws, toy wood and LEGO blocks. It was a lot of fun!

YOUTH CAMP
Youth Campers this week had a great time making a Time Capsule and S’mores. Family Night was so much fun with a Parent/Child vs. Counselor Tug-of-War as well as a GaGa Tournament and Nine Square. The Giraffes won the group poster contest. On Friday, campers said their goodbyes with a big party day.

UNIT 3
