Kiddie Camp completed their final week of camp with a bunch of great activities. They started the week with "camp fire” stories and songs, pretending as if they were out camping, they sang and danced around our fake fire pit. Campers had a blast cooling off outside during water games and enjoyed their final art and craft activities. We ended the summer with a Camp Pow Wow! It was so great to see all of our kiddie campers laugh, dance, and have sing-a-longs. We hope that our kiddie campers had a great time and we hope to see them return next summer.

Youth Camp had great participation in Pajama Day and Crazy Sock Day, we love when they get excited to show off what they are wearing when it is a dress-up day! Campers had fun in their final days with us either going swimming, rock climbing, going in the bounce house or creating different arts and crafts. We are always sad for camp to come to an end but it was nice to see the friendships that blossomed throughout the summer and we hope these friendships continue to grow. We want our campers to be sure to keep their 2018 YMCA camp T-shirt as a keepsake to remember that this summer they "found their awesome"! Good luck in the upcoming school year and we hope to see you all again next year or at our ACLD location.

Teen Campers were still laughing and telling stories on Monday about the White Water Rafting trip. They have great memories from that trip that will hopefully stay with them forever. For their final week, teen campers had a lot of fun at Country Fair where they had a chance to either go mini golfing, practice their swing at the batting cages, ride go-karts or play laser tag! We want to wish our campers the best of luck in the upcoming school year and we hope to see them next year.

Jr. Travel Camp completed their final week of camp with two great trips to Adventureland and Bowling. At Adventureland, campers won great prizes and had a blast riding all of the roller coasters. On our bowling trip campers had fun competing for the top score for the last time this summer. It was sad to see our campers and counselors say their goodbyes but we know they are off to have a great school year.

Sports Camp ended their final week of camp with a successful football tournament. We were impressed to see them execute the skills that they learned over the past few weeks with us at camp. We hope that our campers take what they learned on the field or court and bring it to their teams throughout the school year. We want to wish these young athletes nothing but the best in their upcoming school year!

Performing Arts Camp did a fantastic job in Hairspray Jr.! Their acting and singing skills were superb and they certainly impressed the audience! We hope these young performers enjoyed their time performing on the big stage at the Boulton Center. We ended our last day of camp with a fun trip to the bowling alley! We hope to see these campers throughout the school year in our Act Out Y Theater classes at the Y. Good luck to everyone in the new  school year!
