Patchogue Family YMCA 5K Run/Walk

Honoring Brendan Barrett, Sayville Running Company

Proceeds from this run/walk will benefit the Y Diabetes Prevention Program.

Diabetes is a serious condition that causes blood sugar levels to rise higher than healthy. Currently, diabetes affects more than 29 million Americans. Another 86 million Americans have prediabetes. The Y's program reduces that number, improves participant's health and happiness and can help save lives.

YMCA 5K Run/Walk In Memory of Marcie Mazzola

Master Category LITF Grand Prix Team Event

FREE Fun Run for 10 and under 8:00am

Proceeds from this run/walk benefit programs serving at-risk children.

The Marcie Mazzola Foundation established this race 12 years ago to help fund urgently needed programs and services for children in need. The YMCA Summer Camp Scholarship Program was earmarked early on as a key community resource for elevating the experienced and opportunities for our local underserved youth. At the Y Summer Camp, every child benefits from positive developmental experiences, building confidence and skills in a safe and stimulating environment. We actively engage children from low-income families, providing up to full financial assistance to hundreds of children each summer. Together, the Marcie Mazzola Foundation and the YMCA have helped hundreds of fragile children develop self-confidence, and become empowered to overcome obstacles and lead positive lives.

YMCA 5K Run/Walk in Memory of Judi

In Tribute to Sharde' Lamneck #ShardeStrong

Proceeds from this run/walk will benefit cancer survivors through financial assistance to local families battling breast cancer, scholarships to local high school seniors impacted by breast cancer, and support for LiveStrong at the YMCA program.

Judi Shesh was a mother, friend, Y preschool teacher, community leader, and an inspiration. Although she lost her second battle with breast cancer at the age of 41, her courage, love and kindness will live forever in the hearts of the people who knew and loved her. For eighteen years, this 5K has united our community in the fight against breast cancer. This year, we pay special tribute to our Great South Bay Y warrior, Sharde' Lamneck. Always #ShardeStrong.

*Strollers welcome.
