Huntington YMCA Unveils Renovated Camp Stage with Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
Huntington, NY – June 23, 2025. The Huntington YMCA celebrated the official unveiling of its beautifully renovated camp stage, made possible by the generous donation from the Zaccaro Family of Ambassador Home Improvement.
The dedication ceremony included a special ribbon cutting to mark the transformation of this beloved camp space, now ready to inspire future performances, camp shows, and creative expression.
In attendance for the celebration were Huntington Town Highway Supervisor Andre Sorrentino, Deputy Town Supervisor John T. McCarron, and a representative from Legislator Stephanie Bontempi’s office, each presenting certificates of recognition.
As part of the festivities, guests were treated to a magical performance by Magic of Amore that begun at 12:30 PM for Huntington YMCA UPK children to enjoy.
“This stage represents more than just a physical renovation—it’s a symbol of what we can achieve together as a community,” said Nicole Dinolfo, Huntington YMCA Executive Director. “We are incredibly thankful to the Zaccaro Family and Ambassador Home Improvement for their generosity. Their gift will help spark creativity and joy for countless campers for years to come.”
