Huntington YMCA Diver, Alex Birrer
The Huntington YMCA is proud to celebrate local diver Alex for her outstanding performance at the YMCA Diving National Championships in Orlando. Competing against some of the nation’s top athletes, Alex earned 1st Place on the 3-Meter Springboard, 2nd Place on the 1-Meter Springboard, 2nd Place in Platform Diving, and was recognized as the 3rd Highest Female Point Scorer Overall at the meet. Alex began her aquatic journey by learning to swim at the YMCA and has been affiliated with the Huntington YMCA for the past year. Her dedication, perseverance, and passion for the sport continue to inspire our YMCA community.
