The East Hampton RECenter Hurricanes made waves at the YMCA New York State Swimming Championships, delivering a dominant performance and earning a 1st place overall team finish among top competitors from across the state.

With an impressive 76 athletes competing, the Hurricanes showcased the strength, depth, and dedication of their program at every level of competition.

The team’s success was highlighted by:

• 12 new team records
• Multiple individual record-breaking performances
• 11 swimmers qualifying for nationals
• 4 student-athletes advancing to compete at the collegiate level
