Free Preschool Swim Lesson Demos at the YMCA at Glen Cove

The YMCA at Glen Cove is partnering with the Glen Cove Public Library Preschool Program to offer free demo swim lessons for children ages 3–5.

Demo Class Dates & Times

  • June 16: 3:30–4:00 PM and 4:00–4:30 PM
  • June 20: 1:00–1:30 PM, 1:30–2:00 PM, and 2:00–2:30 PM

Each class is limited to 12 participants and will be led by two swim instructors with a lifeguard on duty. Parents are welcome to watch from the bleachers.

Children will experience a typical preschool swim lesson, including water safety, kicking, bubbles, floating, pool entry and exit skills, and more.
