“THE Y TRANSFORMED ME INTO A HAPPIER PERSON AND A CATALYST FOR HEALTHY LIVING”
I was approaching my 48th birthday and I was unhealthy, overweight, and stressed at work. That’s when I joined the YMCA. I started to follow a healthy eating plan and started running on the track and taking some Zumba and kickboxing.
Over the last three years, I not only lost 50 lbs, but also discovered that I have genuine enthusiasm for health and wellness. In fact, I recently became a certified Zumba instructor and now I teach classes at the Y! This way I can give back and inspire others to live healthier lives through the YMCA… just as I did.
