Free Teen Programs
Nationally recognized for its many innovative
programs and community services, one of
the most popular and successful programs
of the YMCA of Long Island, Inc. is the
FREE Saturday evening Teen Center Program.
Beginning in 1995, more than 100,000
DIFFERENT teens have chosen this program
as a positive, safe, and productive way to
spend Saturday nights. The program is
offered to all teens. Click on the facility site

The program runs from October to May.

Honoree Program
Each year the YMCA of Long Island, Inc. selects
an honoree who best exemplifies our mission,
and who will help assist us in the underwriting
phase of this FREE program. By doing so, the
Teen Center carries the honoree’s name for the
entire year in addition to
other recognitions.
Diamonds &
Burlap Auction
and Dinner Dance

Island, Inc. shows its appreciation to our honoree and
contributors with this most popular and exciting black-tie
affair held each November. More than 500 attend the Diamonds &
Burlap Auction and Dinner Dance including corporate executives,
community leaders, and recognized athletes help make this one of
the most prestigious and popular fundraising events on Long
Island. Always exciting, moving and memorable, it is at this
event our honoree is gratefully recognized and forever enshrined
as family and friends of one of the most successful social
institutions our nation has ever known … the YMCA. |
