Youth Cultural Arts
The mission of our Cultural Arts department is in the pursuit of reaching their potential as human beings. To attain its mission of the development of the whole mind, the Cultural Arts department first recognizes that learning a creative activity relies on the fact that each child is unique. Individualized instruction and understanding the creative process help to focus the students' potential as well as to assure that each child develops the abilities needed for creative expression. In summary, the Cultural Arts department strives to preserve the legacy of the arts and to enrich the human spirit.
We are dedicated to encourage students to develop their creativity through the art of dance and karate. We instill self expression, discipline, and passion in each of our students. All participants must have a YMCA membership. Classes are based on a student’s physical ability with age consideration.
